PINK TREES PRESS is a nonprofit press publishing the work of diverse, living writers, sharing voices that expand the familiar and cultivate imagination and resilience. The authors of Pink Trees Press reflect the heterogeneity of our country. Art spreads compassion and unites people.
PINK TREES PRESS was born in the New York City downtown arts scene in 2012, creating small batches of handmade books. Its first mass-marketed book was the Silver Tongued Devil Anthology, published in 2020, edited by Linda Kleinbub and Anthony C. Murphy. This book was archived by the New York Public Library, Tompkins Square Branch, and included in the exhibition: Indy Indeed: A Half Century of Downtown’s Independent Presses.
We publish poetry collections, memoirs, creative non-fiction, and anthologies. Our artist-in-residence, Linda Wulkan, a graphic artist has designed many covers for Pink Trees Press.
